If someone would have told me after Game 2 of the NBA Finals that Miami would win the title in 6 games, I would have bet my house they wouldn’t. How did they pull it off - 1 name – D. Wade. So what specifically makes Wade such an effective scorer. Wade does a tremendous job of staying low to the floor and propelling both shoulders past his defender when driving to the basket. Defenders can’t stay in front of him because once Wade’s shoulders are past the defender, the defender is beat.
Tip: Train yourself to get low and focus on getting shoulders past defender.
